It is this phase of financialization that facilitates the shift to the next hegemon.
Arrighi dates the origin of this cyclical process to the Italian city-states of the 14th century, an era that he calls the birth of the modern world. From the marriage of Genoese capital and Spanish power that produced the great discoveries, he traces this path through Amsterdam, London and, finally, the United States.
In each case, the cycle is shorter and each new hegemon is larger, more complex and more powerful than the previous one. And, as we mentioned above, each terminates in a crisis of financialization that marks the final stage of hegemony. But this phase also fertilizes the soil in which the next hegemon will sprout, thus marking financialization as the harbinger of an impending hegemonic shift. Arrighi detected a first wave of financialization starting around 1560, when the Genoese businessmen withdrew from commerce and specialized in finance, thereby establishing symbiotic relations with the Kingdom of Spain. The subsequent wave began around 1740 when the Dutch began to withdraw from commerce to become “the bankers of Europe.” The financialization in Great Britain, which we will examine below, emerged around the end of the 19th century; for the United States, it began in the 1970s.

Returning to the question of financialization, the original insight into its epochal aspect first came from the French historian Fernand Braudel, of whom Arrighi was a disciple. Braudel observed that the rise of finance as the predominant capitalist activity of a given society was a sign of its impending decline.
Arrighi adopted this approach and, in his major work called ‘The Long Twentieth Century,’ elaborated his theory of the cyclical pattern of ascendency and collapse within the capitalist system, which he called the ‘systemic cycle of accumulation.’ According to this theory, the period of ascendency is based on an expansion of trade and production.
But this phase eventually reaches maturity, at which point it becomes more difficult to profitably reinvest capital in further expansion. In other words, the economic endeavors that propelled the rising power to its perch become increasingly less profitable as competition intensifies and, in many cases, much of the real economy is lost to the periphery, where wages are lower. Rising administrative expenses and the cost of maintaining an ever-expanding military also contribute to this, notwithstanding the fact of corruption as all government pork is only eaten by the Satanic Phoenician Mega Trillionaires.

Financialization is the first stage of decline and fall, but because it looks like an economic boom, it confuses everyone as to the fact that the mantle of hegemonic power is already being passed on. And part of the chaos of today’s world likely stems from the apparent fact that China belatedly rejected both financialization as well as its role as the next seat of the travelling empire, while both China and Russia are systematically destroying every attempt to expand the hegemon to global proportions.

All around my meditations just around two days ago I had a mayor breakthrough during one of them. I started praying to God with my eyes closed to let me feel the buddhafield surrounding this place and then a miracle happened. I began to experience the energy in a whole new other way. Behind the solar plexus, in my back I experienced some tingly sensations which grew a little in intensity as I focused my attention to it. Suddenly a greater flow of intelligent energy began to flow, and I could feel waves of energy beginning to course through my body. This energetic opening has stabilized and feels like it might have become permanent in it's nature. All conflicting emotions: Gone. All mind chatter: Gone. And there is this great sense of well being that permeates my entire energy structure.

AN ENERGY ENHANCEMENT DAY IN IGUAZU FALLS

After this amazing opening we decided to go and spend a day at Iguazu Falls in Argentina. Everything was so beautiful and the falls are just breathtaking. I made a comment to Swami Satchidanand that to see the falls in all of their glory was similar to experiencing spiritual energy for the first time. It's almost like a soft and mellow adrenaline rush that invades your whole system. I have to say that seeing the falls and experiencing spiritual energy at the same time was like one of those great discount offers you get in some places: Like buy 2 for the price of one kind of thing. Which was why I also commented right when we were about to leave the Iguazu falls that that day might have been the most perfect day of my life….
"There can only be One"
It is a very similar process whereby the Soul Infused Personality integrates all the other Mind Virus, Mind Parasite blockages, implants and sub-personalities into the Soul Infused Personality, so at the end of the Process of Enlightenment, only the Soul Infused Personality remains.
Many people do not have a Soul Infused Personality and require up to a hundred lifetimes in order to start the creation and evolution of their "Essence", as it is called in Gurdjieffian terminology.
The first chakra above the head is the Soul chakra which works at the much higher frequency of Intuition above the level of the intellectual and psychic functions of the chakras in the head. It is the Soul Chakra which creates and places the Soul Infused Personality into the mind where it shares the "nest" with all the other Mind Virus, Mind Parasite Energy blockages and sub-personalities.
At this point the education of the Soul Infused Personality begins so that it knows it only has the free will to do the right thing.
Of course, all the Mind Virus, Mind Parasite blockages and Sub-Personalities which have been created with Trauma-Formed Negative Karmic mass as their basis always want to do the psychopathic, selfish and greedy, wrong thing, because they are Ego based and not, like the Soul, connected to the Antahkarana stream of energy connected with God.
Mind Virus Subpersonalities are split off from the Soul infused personality by Trauma in all your previous lifetimes. They are created to protect the Soul infused Personality from the trauma.
Once created they are not connected to the Soul as the Soul Infused personality is. Subpersonalities are like computer programs which always do the same thing who repetitively use the strategies of the violator, the poor me and the black star which always sabotage your Soul mission.
